1962 VW Beetle for sale
Condition: In operation, with up-to-date Spanish vehicle inspection.
Extras: Interior trunk key lock, interior tray under the dashboard, original 6v radio, and cigarette lighter.

I keep a dossier with all the invoices for the car regarding its restoration, which was carried out in 2003 (After this restoration, the car was left with its electrical installation at 6v, including its original BLAUPUNKT radio), as well as the work that was done. have done afterwards. I also keep the original user book, customs documents, assembly instructions, warranty book and some other things from the radio, as well as an old quince sheet box with parts and things saved that belonged to the first owner and that I have not I wanted to touch, since for me it is like a time capsule.

Maintenance: I have had it since 2016, since then changing pistons, rings, and completely overhauling the engine (delivered old removed pistons), 6v battery, spark plug wires, spark plugs, contact points, distributor rotor, distributor cover, distributor capacitors, handle of intermittency due to breakage, valve adjustment, rocker cover gaskets and inspection and adjustment of the carburetor. This entire revision will only be 3 years old and about 3000km since then, always using German quality spare parts.

Things to do: Change wheels and repair a rust bubble on the right door, at the bottom, which will be 1cm or so.

The rest on an aesthetic level is not perfect, since it was restored 21 years ago, but I consider that it is a sincere unit, which has not had any frontal impacts or deformations (a rare thing in these cars) nor has anything been replaced due to rust. (no floors or spare wheel well.... nothing) I have put about 15,000 km on it, traveling a lot on the highway at 90, and it runs perfect.

As an anecdote, it appeared in VWeekend magazine, doing a multi-page report.

Estado: En funcionamiento, con inspeccion de vehiculos española al día.
Extras: Cierre de llave de maletero interior, bandeja interior bajo salpicadero, radio original 6v, y encendedor de cigarrillos.

Conservo dossier con todas las facturas del coche en cuanto a su restauración se refiere y que se realizo en 2003 (Tras esta restauración, el coche se dejó con su instalación eléctrica a 6v, incluyendo su radio BLAUPUNKT original) , así como los trabajos que se han realizado después. Guardo también el libro original de usuario, documentos de aduanas, instrucciones de montaje, libro de garantía y alguna cosa más de la radio, asi como una caja de chapa antigua de membrillo con piezas y cosas guardadas que era del primer dueño y que no he querido tocar, puesto que para mi es como una capsula del tiempo.

Mantenimiento: Yo lo tengo desde 2016, cambiando desde entonces pistones, segmentos, y revisado completo del motor (entrego pistones viejos retirados) batería a 6v, cables de bujías, bujías, platinos, rotor del distribuidor, tapa distribuidor, condensadores del distribuidor, maneta de intermitencia por rotura, reglaje de válvulas, juntas de la tapa de balancines y revisión y ajuste del carburador. Toda esta revision apenas tendra 3 años y unos 3000km desde entonces usando siempre repuestos de calidad alemana.

Cosas por hacer: Cambiar ruedas y reparar una burbuja de oxido que tiene en la puerta derecha, en la parte inferior, que tendrá 1cm o asi.

El resto a nivel estético no esta perfecto, puesto que hace 21 años que se restauro, pero considero que es una unidad sincera, la cual no ha tenido golpes frontales ni deformaciones (cosa rara en estos coches) ni le ha sido sustituido nada por oxido (ni suelos ni hueco de rueda de repuesto.... nada) Yo le he echo unos 15000km, viajando muchísimo por autovía a 90, y va perfecto.

Como anécdota, salio en la revista VWeekend, haciéndole un reportaje de varias páginas.
