Stunning Porsche 968 CS Club Sport 1994 in black, very good condition, low mileage. Classic sports car icon & genuine driving machine
Absolutely magnificent example of the classic sports car icon Porsche 968 Club Sport 1994 in classic Porsche black, with original silver alloys, engine 2,990 ccm capacity with 4 cylinders and 239 bhp (water cooled) and 6 gears, black interior with black seats, mileage is ca. 66.5k mls. (fully documented, current speedo reading is ca. 107k km), German TUEV (German MOT) until 01/2026. This is a genuine driving machine with plenty of pure driving fun. The black colour combination makes this 968 Club Sport a rare sight, given other colour combinations in yellow, red or white.
The car has an excellent and straight drive, despite allowing for a pretty brisk driving style, yet with sublime handling across the situations. Acceleration 0 to 100 km/h is indicated as 6.3 sec. Top speed at 252 km/h.
This 968 Club Sport is part of my collection and was delivered through the Porsche Center Aachen and first registered on 29 March, 1994. There is an original Porsche Delivery data sheet. There is also the original service booklet with entries.
The car has spent its entire life in Germany.
The car comes with 2 keys. This Porsche is in stunning condition inside and outside, the coating has a deep black shine (Please see pictures), the coating of the 2 door handle sections shows slight wear and tear.
All German TUEV (German MOT) reports are present since 2003 (from mileage of ca. 80.7k KM).
All maintenance work was effected at the Porsche Center in Aachen (up to 66k KM), as documented in the original Porsche service booklet, after that at specialist garages. Mileage history backed-up through Porsche service booklet, German TUEV reports as well as invoice history.
Invoice history includes:
In 2005, a comprehensive Gearbox overhaul was effected in at Porsche Center Bonn at ca. 80.7k KM.
In 2014, the timing belt and the water pump were replaced.
At the end of 2019, the engine cooler was renewed and the timing belt replaced at ca. 99k KM.
In February 2024, the most recent oil service was effected, together with a battery replacement.
The German TUEV (German MOT) was renewed in February 2024 without any issues.
This car is pure driving fun. Handling is excellent, which is due to the well balanced weight distribution: engine in the front and transaxle gearbox at the rear axle. This is a 4 cyl. engine with an enormous 3.0 litres of capacity.
My car has always been garaged next to the other cars in my collection. This car most definitely deserves to be driven more than the total of ca. 2k KM (ca. 1.25k mls) in my ownership since Jan. 2021.
The car’s highly sportive character is underlined by its minimalistic appearance, in that any unnecessary weight was omitted, i.e. no air conditioning, no electric windows and mirrors, no airbags, no rear wiper, no back seats, resulting in 50 to 100 kg less weight.
In Germany, a total of 444 units of the Porsche 968 Club Sport was ever registered (See Frank Pieper: Porsche 968. Das Kompendium, 2008). My car is one of them.
