Fahrzeugbeschreibung
The Land Rover Freelander 2: agile, spacious, and comfortable. It’s pretty much everything you’d want in a daily car!
Drive it for a while, and you’ll realize just what an ideal vehicle the Freelander is. It offers plenty of space, four-wheel drive, ample towing capacity, and a great look. With a Freelander, you’ll always arrive in style, no matter where you’re headed!
It’s no surprise that this Freelander has been one of our personal cars over the past year. We are the third owners, with the previous owner having had the car since 2013! At her request, the Land Rover was imported from Germany by the dealer, and she’s enjoyed driving it for an impressive 11 years.
Our decision was, of course, influenced by its fresh appearance, low mileage, and complete service history. We’ve thoroughly enjoyed it, but recently the Freelander was replaced with a Jaguar XF featuring the same engine, so it’s now ready for a new enthusiast!
A few weeks ago, some maintenance work was done, and several issues were addressed. For instance, the left front door lock was replaced as it was partly malfunctioning. The oil and oil filter have been changed, and of course, a full inspection was carried out. Additionally, a new MOT has been completed.
Both the interior and exterior are in exceptionally good condition. This is no surprise, as when we took it into use almost a year ago, we had the entire interior professionally cleaned, and the paintwork was polished to perfection.
This Freelander is equipped with the reliable 2.2 SD4 engine producing 152 horsepower. It’s a great engine that effortlessly achieves high mileage.
A quick note about the interior: it’s clean and in excellent condition. The upholstery is undamaged, and even the driver’s side entry still looks neat. All functions work perfectly, and the displays are nice and bright. The rear seats fold down in two sections to provide maximum cargo space. The air conditioning cools as it should, and it had a service check just under a year ago.
As mentioned, we’ve been driving this Freelander for a while now. Since the moment we purchased it, we’ve encountered no issues or defects. The chassis feels solid, with no strange noises or movements. There have been no malfunctions either. The tires are still in good condition, though it’s likely the front tires will need replacing next year as they’re a bit older. The Freelander 2 comes with the original Land Rover tow bar.
The history is thoroughly documented. The original service booklet is present, along with the dealer cards, service book, and some maintenance invoices. This makes it easy to trace the full history. The key set consists of 2 keys, both with remote control. It’s simply a well-maintained Land Rover, ready for its next owner!
There’s a lot more to say about this Freelander, but you’ll really get the full picture once you see and drive it yourself. You’re more than welcome to visit us in Uden, and the coffee will be ready!
