Na het succes van de Ferrari California introduceerde Ferrari in 2014 de nieuwe California T. Anders dan de modelnaam doet vermoeden is de California T zowel technisch als optisch volledig anders. Naast de introductie van de V8 bi-turbomotor, werd de complete carrosserie vernieuwd en werd de auto van een nieuw interieur en multimediasysteem voorzien.
